Five steps from request to delivery
Whether you need one item or a full bill of quantities, every order follows the same transparent steps. You always know what happens next and which documents you will receive.

Send your requirements or BOQ
Share your equipment list or bill of quantities (BOQ) by email, WhatsApp or our contact form. Excel and PDF files are both fine.
To help us quote quickly, include:
- Model or part numbers, or specifications
- Quantities for each item
- Preferred brands or acceptable alternatives
- Your required delivery date

Receive our quotation and proforma invoice
We confirm availability and pricing with our suppliers and send you one consolidated quotation for your list, including the proposed delivery route. Once you approve it, we issue a proforma invoice for your payment arrangements.

Payment by LC or T/T
Payment is made by Letter of Credit (LC) through your bank, or by bank transfer (T/T). The payment terms and the documents required are agreed before the order is placed.

Sourcing, inspection and shipping
We place the orders with our suppliers and coordinate collection. Pre-shipment inspection can be arranged on request. Goods are then exported by air from the UAE, or shipped directly from the supplier.

Delivery to Addis Ababa with full documentation
Your shipment is delivered to Addis Ababa together with the commercial invoice, packing list and transport documents, plus a certificate of origin if you requested one.

Two ways to ship to Addis Ababa
Air export from the UAE
Goods sourced in the UAE, or brought together there, are cleared for export and flown to Bole Addis Ababa International Airport.
Direct from the supplier
Where it is more efficient, goods are shipped directly from the supplier in China or Hong Kong to Addis Ababa.

Letter of Credit (LC)
Your bank issues a documentary credit in our favour, and payment is released against the agreed shipping documents.
Bank transfer (T/T)
A telegraphic transfer to our company bank account, on the terms shown in the proforma invoice.

Frequently asked questions
Which brands can you supply?
We can source equipment from many manufacturers, for example Cisco, Fortinet, HPE, Panduit and TP-Link. Send us the model or part numbers and we will confirm availability.
Are you an authorised distributor?
No. 2YB GENERAL TRADING L.L.C-FZ is an independent trading company. We source products through suppliers in the UAE, China and Hong Kong and are not an authorised partner, distributor or reseller of the manufacturers we mention.
Can you quote a complete BOQ?
Yes. Send us the complete list and we will prepare one consolidated quotation and proforma invoice for the items we can supply.
How is the equipment shipped?
Either by air freight from the UAE to Bole Addis Ababa International Airport, or directly from the supplier. The proposed route is shown in your quotation.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Payment by Letter of Credit (LC) or by bank transfer (T/T). The terms are agreed before the order is placed and shown on the proforma invoice.
Can you arrange an inspection before shipment?
Yes, pre-shipment inspection can be arranged on request. Please mention it when you ask for your quotation.
Do you deliver outside Ethiopia?
Our main focus is Ethiopia and East Africa. Contact us with your destination and we will confirm the options.
